Reiter Affiliated Companies, LLC (RAC) has engaged KeyMark Inc., an award-winning document management solution provider, to provide a document management solution in their accounts payable department.
RAC is a berry farming organization headquartered in Oxnard, Calif. The family-owned organization is the largest fresh berry supplier in North America and serves just one customer: Driscoll Strawberry Associates (Driscoll’s).
“Our accounts payable department is decentralized throughout California and we have invoices arriving via fax, email and mail, making them difficult to keep track of,” said Kathi Alvarez, Senior Manager of AP and Payroll for RAC.
To assist RAC with these difficulties, KeyMark is developing a centralized invoice processing solution that utilizes AnyDoc Software for data extraction and Hyland Software’s enterprise content management solution, OnBase, for workflow.
“With this new system, we will not only eliminate the manual labor associated with invoice processing, but also any lost invoices due to paper shuffling,” Alvarez said.
“This solution will allow remote users to approve invoices, saving RAC a significant amount of time since many of their approvers travel regularly,” said Victoria Pruitt, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at KeyMark. “They will see a significant increase in accountability and visibility as well as a reduction in processing time.”
