This year KeyMark looks forward to connecting with government departments to discuss strategies for streamlining operations, improving constituent service, and reducing costs. Particularly during this time of AI pervasiveness, we’re eager to meet up and discuss what features of AI can bring real value to government agencies and counties, and what can be ignored.
This exclusive, one-day event will feature keynote speakers, expert panel discussions, networking, and some special drop-ins/swing-bys from extra special guests curious what all the fuss is about. Breakfast and lunch are provided, just please don’t feed said special guests.

Keynote Speakers
Tim Oliver
Principal Consultant and owner of Executech Consulting
This year, SC Government Summit is joined by Tim Oliver, former CIO and Geospatial Information Officer for Horry County, South Carolina. Tim leverages expertise from over three decades in public sector tech to share operational insights and playbook strategies for implementing enterprise solutions and planning for sustainable, secure modernization.
Tim has built countywide GIS and led enterprise IT to modernize legacy platforms, strengthen cybersecurity, and improve mobility and citizen services. As an early OnBase implementer and advocate of intelligent automation in government, we’re excited to hear what he has to say through his keynote presentation.
Mike Askren
VP of Product Management, ECM & Platform Services
We are excited to welcome Mike Askren as a featured speaker at this years SC Government Summit. Mike leads the strategic direction of Hyland’s Content Management and Platform Services product portfolio including OnBase and the Content Innovation Cloud platform. As an ECM veteran with over 18 years in the industry, he has led product teams driving the strategic direction for Capture, Workflow, Case Management, Robotic Process Automation, Customer Communications Management, Enterprise Search, and File Sharing solutions.
Mike also brings 10 years of prior experience in financial services, banking, and payment card systems technology solutions. With his depth of experience, Mike’s session promises to deliver practical strategies and meaningful insights for our audience.
Ed McQuiston
KeyMark Chief Executive Officer
Ed McQuiston is the Chief Executive Officer of KeyMark, bringing over two decades of experience in the content services and intelligent document and process automation industries. He joined KeyMark in June 2025, with a focus on helping organizations accelerate their digital transformation initiatives through strategic leadership and innovation.
Prior to joining KeyMark, Ed spent more than 20 years at Hyland, where he held several executive roles with his latest being Executive Vice President & Chief Customer Officer. During his tenure, he led global sales, marketing, customer success, services, and technical support playing a key role in Hyland’s international growth and vertical market expansion.

Attendees will participate in keynote presentations, expert panel discussions, and networking opportunities. Sessions will focus on streamlining operations, improving constituent services, and leveraging AI effectively in government settings.
At this time, the summit is an in-person event only. No virtual options are available.
No! Attendance is completely free.
The SC Government Summit 2025 will be held inside the Ndoki Lodge at Riverbanks Zoo & Garden (500 Wildlife Parkway, Columbia SC 29210). All main sessions, panels, presentations, and the happy hours will take place in this location.
Yes. Admission tickets are required for entry to the Zoo, for you and your guests. Your ticket is an all-day admission pass, so you’re welcome to leave and return at any time — just be sure to keep your ticket for re-entry.
You and your guests can pick up a complimentary ticket at the KeyMark check-in table located by the Zoo entrance during the following times:
8:30 – 10:00 AM (for Summit sessions)
3:00 – 4:00 PM (for Happy Hour arrivals)

Yes, you can connect to the Wi-Fi network – ZooGuestWifi.
Once you go to your settings and select ZooGuestWifi, please wait for a browser to pop up. It will ask you to ‘accept’ the terms of using the Wi-Fi. Once accepted, you will be connected to the Wi-Fi.
Yes, complimentary parking is available in the Riverbanks Zoo & Garden visitor parking lot.
Yes! Breakfast and lunch will be served during the summit. During Happy Hour, attendees and their guests can enjoy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar.
Yes! Guests are welcome to join for Happy Hour and explore the zoo. However, if a guest wishes to attend the main summit sessions, they must register separately.

There is no official hotel block for this event. However, we recommend the Aloft Columbia Downtown Hotel for convenient accommodations.
