Two new higher education institutions select OnBase hosted in the Hyland Cloud

Colleges and universities’ cloud adoption rates increase to support security, efficiency and student success

Hyland’s higher education business segment welcomed two new cloud customers who will host their OnBase content services platform in the Hyland Cloud. The privately managed and secure hosting platform helps organizations reduce the burden of managing IT infrastructure, meet faster deployment timelines and make it simpler to share and collaborate on content. The Hyland Cloud is built exclusively for Hyland’s content services solutions and intentionally designed – helping colleges and universities meet their technology modernization strategies while remaining focused on staying successful.

Butler University has been a Hyland customer since 2011, leveraging OnBase within its Financial Aid, Registration and Records, Advancement, Human Resources and Accounts Payable departments. By migrating to the Hyland Cloud, its solutions will be managed by Hyland’s Global Cloud Services team, giving Butler more time to focus on its strategic recruiting and retention efforts and fostering student success.

Connecticut State Colleges & Universities (CSCU) selected OnBase, hosted in the Hyland Cloud and integrated with its Ellucian Banner ERP. Its goal is to expand the applications using the Ethos integration for its Financial Aid requirement tracking and auto-fill functionality. Additionally, they are researching the integrations with Ellucian’s CRM Recruit and CRM Advise applications.

Butler University and CSCU join more than 1175 customers using the Hyland cloud.
