KeyMark, partners in turning unstructured content into actionable enterprise intelligence, was recognized in the Best Places to Work in South Carolina 2025 awards, achieving 8th place. Awards were announced and presented by the Best Companies Group at an award ceremony banquet, Aug. 25 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
"Being new in the seat as CEO at KeyMark, one of the things that drew me to this role was the organization’s culture," KeyMark CEO Ed McQuiston said. "Consistently focusing on company culture and employee wellbeing while offering an environment that encourages innovation are core tenets of our leadership team’s values. Most of us spend far more time working than we do anything else. We all want to do that in a place where we feel valued, where our contributions make an impact, and where we enjoy the people we work with. Those are non-negotiables, and this award validates that those values matter to our employees, as do the efforts we make in supporting them."
The Best Places to Work 2025 survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state of South Carolina.
Participating companies had to meet initial criteria demonstrating a positive influence on the state before being nominated. Once nominated, remaining organizations received scores based on workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. These scores were then combined with staff scores recorded by an anonymous survey. The final scores were tallied, ranked, and sorted by organization size.
