Mike Majarais serves as Director of Professional Services at KeyMark. He has a Computer Science degree from Clemson University and received his Project Management Master’s Certificate from George Washington University. Mike has been in the IT and Project Management profession for almost 20 years and has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with PMI since 2001. He spent 8 years with IBM Global Services as a Consultant and a Project Manager, rising to Senior Project Manager before moving to KeyMark in early 2006.

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why?
No question, it would have to be my late grandmother on my father’s side. She passed away just before my first son was born and was influential in raising me and helping me become the person I am today.
What’s the most unusual place you have visited?
I’ve been lucky enough to travel my entire career, but I’d have to say visiting the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey in 1998 was a unique experience
What’s the most unusual item in your desk drawer?
It’s a tie between a mini jar of Nutella and an old Blackberry
What music do you listen to when no one is around?
Gangster Rap….actually I listen to that when people around also. I really don’t care.
If you could tell the next generation one thing, what would it be?
Bring back Pepsi Clear
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
Traveling, Reading, Movies, and playing Poker. Actually, all of these things happen during my Poker trips. So yeah, playing Poker covers all of this.
If you could go anywhere, right now, for 5 days all expenses paid, where would it be?
