John, our Vice President of Sales, has extensive work experience in both direct sales and sales leadership roles. Following his graduation from The Citadel, John joined Datastream in 1995, where he served in a variety of sales roles through 2006 and was responsible for building the State and Local Government Sales team. John completed his MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Clemson University in 2021, and he now teaches Sales Process Management in the Clemson MBA Corporate Program. He joined KeyMark in 2019 and is responsible for our Sales, Solution Architect and Sales Operation teams.
Things you should know about John:
- My wife Brantley rescued a baby squirrel in 2009 and we named her Bella. The Dodo released a story about her in April 2018 and it went viral on Facebook, reaching over 75 million views. I wrote a children’s book about the experience called “Bella the Squirrel.”
- We have 4 dogs (Adele the Bulldog, Amos the Boston, Andy the Lab Mix, and Henry the Boxer) and 2 human boys (Evans and Fox)
- I once broke my humerus in half throwing a fastball. It was going to be the fastest ball I ever threw. It hurt bad!
