John is a highly experienced finance and accounting professional with an extensive education and work history in finance, accounting, and consulting. Following his graduation from Furman University with a degree in Accounting, and a Masters in Accounting received from the University of Virginia, John joined Ernst & Young where he served in a variety of tax, audit, and consulting roles. John joined the KeyMark team in 2017 and is currently responsible for financial analysis and strategy.
Things you should know about John:
- Chipotle is my favorite restaurant and Mexican is my favorite cultural cuisine
- My dog is named Thomas Jefferson (my wife chose dog over first child)

Q&A with John
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Thomas Jefferson as his involvement was paramount in the creation of the first county to be founded liberal principles and freedom. He served as the first ambassador to our most important ally during the Revolutionary War and he founded the University of Virginia.
What’s the most unusual place you have visited?
I spent 8 weeks in Belo Horizonte, Brazil serving in a financial consulting role with Ernst & Young. I led a team performing an international market expansion project for a health care technology firm. As part of this trip I was able to visit Sao Paulo, Manauas, Foz de Iguassu and Rio de Janeiro as they were preparing for the 2016 Olympics.
