Are you new to OnBase? OnBase Fundamentals is for you! This three-day course is designed to provide you with a basic understanding of the various components that can be used to create OnBase solutions. Course activities include highlighting terminology and common language used by end users, OnBase administrators and Hyland Global Services consultants; classroom discussions & activities led by seasoned OnBase professionals; and hands-on lab exercises.
OnBase Architecture, Document Imaging, Advanced Capture, import processors, Workflow, WorkView, Application Enabler, Integration for Microsoft Outlook, Unity Forms, Document Composition, Document Knowledge Transfer, Mobile solutions, OnBase Folders, Autofill Keyword Sets, Custom Queries and Reporting Dashboards.
To provide learners with a common language to discuss OnBase technologies and the knowledge, skills and resources to describe typical OnBase solutions & explain how they can enhance an organization’s business processes. MEASUREMENT Learners will be evaluated on their understanding of the Architecture, Modules and Functions of OnBase.
The first day begins with a discussion of the common challenges that affect different organizations. Instructors demonstrate how to access OnBase resources and log on to the OnBase Clients while explaining the architecture of a basic OnBase solution. Learners receive hands-on experience capturing documents and working with them in OnBase.
The second day builds on the concepts discussed on Day 1. Learners explore additional methods for indexing and working with documents, identify multiple options for importing documents and apply case management principles for the management of documents and data inside of OnBase.
The third day takes a deeper dive into OnBase technologies that make business processes more effective. Instructors discuss options for making the capture process more accurate and efficient, demonstrate how to use OnBase Forms to collect information and investigate additional methods to access and manage content in OnBase. Learners participate in a variety of review activities and wrap-up the course with a course-end assessment.
