Position Description

SharePoint Application Architect/Developer position involves developing websites and web applications. A successful candidate will have proficiency in the use of Microsoft SharePoint products.

Essential Duties & Specific Responsibilities

Design and develop new solutions that work with SharePoint
Integrate web applications into SharePoint
Design and develop web applications running under IIS using .Net (C#, VB)
Work with customers (and developers as necessary) to develop SharePoint solution for various business requirements
Work on a team administering and supporting the customers' SharePoint environments

Qualifications & Required Background

The requirements below represent the qualifications necessary to carry out the essential duties of this position.

Education & Certifications

Broad experience with .NET Framework to include .NET 2.9 and ASP.NET 2.0/3.0/3.5
Demonstrated competency in Visual Studio, Visual Studio Tools for Office, Windows Workflow Foundation, Forms Server and Excel Services
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server certifications are a plus

Experience, Knowledge, & Technical Skils

Expert-level expertise with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) and Windowns SharePoint Services (WSS) technologies including creating, packaging, and deploying custom web parts, site definitions, and features.
A strong background in leading SharePoint solution efforts involving Portals, Workflows, Enterprise Content Management, Enterprise Search, Business Process Design, InfoPath Forms, and Business Intelligence
Strong experience packaging and deploying SharePoint solutions
Demonstrable experience developing solution architecture
Leadership experience throughout the software lifecycle
Experience in designing SharePoint solutions from a business analysis perspective.

Travel Requirements

10% of working time.
